In previous years a competitor's National Ranking was determined by the aggregate of the points awarded for a limited number of best performances during a climbing season. Under this scheme a competitor's final annual ranking was determined at the end of the competition season (i.e. after the National Championship). Commencing in the 2001 season the system was changed such that a climbers National Ranking is determined based on a competitors performance during the previous 12 month period. |
