Introduction
If you are near Waihi Beach it may be worth a visit to the southern end
of the beach. The cliffs look to be the remains of a Lava flow and while
we couldn't find the area documented in any of the current guides, there
are possibilities for a few short climbs.
Access
From Waihi Beach travel down the road to Bowen Town and walk down to
the beach by the camping ground. A two minute walk down to the end and
there it is. |
